Service Agreements and NDIS Pricing

What to check before signing an NDIS service agreement.

A service agreement should make the support, responsibilities and costs understandable before services begin.

What to check

  • The support, location, schedule and intended outcomes.
  • Current price, how travel or other claimable costs apply and what is not included.
  • Cancellation, notice, changes, reviews and ending the agreement.
  • Responsibilities of the participant, nominee and provider.
  • Privacy, records, incidents, feedback and complaints.
  • How continuity and emergencies will be managed.

Prices can change

NDIS pricing arrangements are updated from time to time. A proposed price change under an existing service agreement should be discussed and agreed in accordance with the agreement and current NDIS rules.

Use a format you understand

You can ask questions, suggest changes and request plain language, Easy Read, an interpreter or support from someone you trust. Keep a copy of the signed agreement.

This is general information. Check the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and your own agreement before making a financial decision.
